Car history:
1) Beautifully restored 1970 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. This car looks great inside and out. The engine runs strong although it is cammed a little heavy for my liking. Transmission shifts smooth with no noise or grinding. Steering, ride and handling is nice and solid.
What I know about the history of this car:
Car was found under a carport with solid body and frame.
Original engine was 350 cubic inch 350 horsepower.
The interior was in awful condition.
The car was green in color.

What was done in the restoration:
Old engine removed and replaced with a crate engine. Engine has high performance aluminum angle plug heads, aluminum intake manifold, EdelBrock 4 barrel carburetor and Hooker super competition headers feeding into large diameter dual exhaust. Block code is T100?CK. I can't make out the ? digit. Not sure if anything was done to the transmission but it looks super clean under the car. Not sure the ratio of the rear differential but it revs about 2000 r.p.m. at 40 m.p.h. in high gear if that helps. Frame was cleaned and is now painted black. All suspension bushings were replaced. New shocks. All new suspension components (ball joints, tie rod end, etc.) where needed. New brake lines and calipers. The brakes are not power but they are 4 wheel discs and work really well. All new interior seats, carpet, dash and door panels. New weatherstripping including door seals for the side windows and new seals for the T tops. New rocker panels were installed. The bumpers are new or rechromed; they look like new to me. The hideaway headlights must have been rebuilt - they work flawlessly. Same with the wiper cowl - it works perfect. New 15 Crager S/S mags with new tires were added. An AM/FM CD player was added. All original gauges work except for the clock. As a matter of fact, the clock is the only thing on this car that I can find that doesn't work! The car was painted black and new emblems were added. The paint looks really good except for a couple of places. There is an X shaped cobweb on the hood and really small cobweb that is hard to see near the front nose emblem. New battery added this year. Charging system works good. This was all done about 3 years ago and it has been in a garage ever since. So there you have it. I am sure I have left some things out, so shoot me a message or email if you have any questions. Starting bid is only $20,000. That's not bad for a turn key Blast From The Past!! No bid at starting $20,000 on May 25, 2017. No bid at starting $18,000 on June 14, 2017. No bid at starting $17,000 on June 18, 22 and 29, 2017. Sold for $15,000 on July 2, 2017.
